This recording is hypnotic and is not to be used whilst driving, and for maximum effect, I recommend you listen to it through headphones. So go ahead and calm your mind, clear your thoughts. And as you breathe all the way in, close your eyes and focus on your breathing so that as you breathe all the way in and all the way out only as quickly as you can begin to relax every muscle, every fiber. The more you relax, the better you feel. The better you feel with, the more you relax.
It’s time to focus inside. It’s time to focus on my voice so that as your mind wanders and I don’t know if your mind’s wandering, my voice will go with you. My voice will help you to relax even more. Relaxing all the way down. Deeper and deeper still. You may be aware of certain sensations around you. Possibly inside the room or even outside the room. Now the feeling of relaxation may begin to flow slowly all the way downwards from your eyes all the way down to your toes. And as you continue to relax and become more aware of certain sensations inside, in a moment I’m going to count from 10 down to 1. And with every descending number, you can begin to drift down deeper and deeper. Relaxing every muscle, every fiber. 10, deeper and deeper. 9, 8, deeper and deeper still. 7, 6, even deeper. 5, 4, deeper and deeper. 3, 2, all the way down. Focus on those muscles becoming less and completely relaxed. 1. Just letting go of every fiber, every muscle.
Go ahead and focus on your forehead. And as you focus on your forehead, just relax your forehead. Go ahead and focus on your eyes. And just relax your eyes. And as you breathe all the way in and all the way out, with every out breath you can start to sink down deeper and deeper still. Go ahead and focus your attention on your shoulders and just relax your shoulders. Just imagine that feeling of relaxation flowing slowly all the way down those arms. And all the way down the arms into your hands, then to your fingers. Go ahead and just relax your chest. Relax your back. Focus your attention on your stomach and relax your stomach all the way down. I don’t know how relaxed you can become right now. Focus your attention on your hips and relax your hips. Relaxing your thighs, your calves, your knees. Letting that relaxation to flow all the way down to your feet and then to your toes. Just imagine how relaxed your feet and your toes can
become. You see there’s many times in your past that you’ve relaxed just as you are right now. And it’s important that you start to recall the times in your past that you have been relaxed. So that you can let go of any stress of the day. Anything that can cause you to feel a certain way that you don’t want to feel, it’s time to let go of everything you need to let go of and just relax. Time to focus on the things that can help you to relax. You see when you focus on certain things inside that can help you to relax, you can start to drift out.
Start to remember times and places that you’ve been relaxed before. And I know that you know how to relax. You can imagine that pleasant scene, a pleasant memory from your past. Somewhere that you can go to relax. A place of sanctuary, a place of safety. I don’t know whether this place could be somewhere in your mind, possibly a beach. Maybe a seaside, maybe a garden, a forest, a mountain. I really don’t know where this place is but your unconscious can come up with a place that you can relax, you can drift out. You can let go of all the stress in your life right now. You see it’s important that as you go through each and
every day, you begin to relax. You begin to connect with this feeling. Allow yourself to drift all the way down.
You see, in a moment, I’m going to count from 1 to 3 and on the count of 3, I’d like you to project yourself to this ideal place of relaxation, this place of sanctuary. A special place in your mind where your unconscious mind will have a gift for you. Something that means something in terms of this particular goal that you’re working on. Letting go of all that stress. And in this particular place, you can relax. You can allow yourself to drift off. You can feel safe. Safe in the knowledge that you can continue to drift down, letting go of any stresses that you’ve got at the moment. 1, 2, 3. Go ahead and just allow yourself to be at this special place. And at this special place, as you look around, knowing that your unconscious mind has got a gift for you, something that can call your attention. Something that can mean something in terms of this particular goal that you want to work on. You see one of the interesting things is you can’t be stressed and relaxed at the same time. You can be happy and sad at the same time. I don’t know if you can consider the last time you were completely relaxed. The last time where you just were possibly lying down, sitting down, allowing your mind to wander. Allowing your mind to wander what it could wonder about. And as your mind wandered, you didn’t need to think of particular things that could cause you to feel a certain way that you don’t want to feel. And I know you’ve got a good imagination. You see, your unconscious mind is there to protect you. Your unconscious mind is the part of you that keeps you heart beating. That is the part of you that allows you to do things automatically. You see you really don’t need to think about counting numbers. You really don’t need to think about the alphabet because you’ve already learned this. And you’ve learned it unconsciously. Just like when you recite your phone number or somebody else’s phone number. Some phone numbers you remember automatically and some you don’t. And as you keep on drifting all the way down, letting go of anything you need to let go of, so that you can feel calm. And that calm place, safe in the knowledge that you can drift down and allow certain thoughts to drift in, allow certain thoughts to drift out. You can start to realize that that relaxation is inside you already. You may find yourself completely relaxed and I know you’re wondering how relaxed you may become.
I’m sure you can remember times when you’ve been really relaxed and even more relaxed than now. You may begin to notice a certain sensation inside. You may wish to focus your awareness on your breathing. I don’t know if your breathing is slowing down, speeding up. And as you experience this relaxation, you can start to feel comfortable in the knowledge that you can drift out safely. Imagine the place and the scene. What would it be like if you could relax like this anytime you want? Possibly the counting from 1 to 3 and just saying the words and so you’d relax taking a deep breath. Just imagine being able to relax just like you are just now. You see, consciously, you think about relaxing whilst unconsciously, the unconscious part you can make all the arrangements for you to relax just like you are just now. And you can let go of any stress. Just letting go completely.
And as you scan around this particular place, this place of relaxation, I want you to notice that something calls your attention, a gift from your unconscious mind. Scan around and really look around until you find something that calls your attention. I don’t know if that will be a pathway, a gateway, a set of stairs, possibly a door. Possibly a boat that leads somewhere. Just scan around until your unconscious mind calls your attention to something. And as your unconscious mind calls your attention to this particular thing, possibly even a branch, I really don’t know what it is, I’ll count from 1 to 10 and as I count from 1 to 10, you can make your way across this gateway, across this bridge, possibly through the door. Whatever it is that comes to mind, knowing that at the other side of this, your unconscious mind will have a special gift for you. I don’t know if it will be a symbol. I don’t know if it will be a representation, possibly a person. But there’ll be something there for you and you can allow your unconscious mind to just come up with whatever it comes up with. And see consciously, you’re probably not even aware of what may come up right now but your unconscious mind knows this particular thing of great importance. 1, 2, making your way across. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. You’re stepping into that scene. A scene created just for you. What do you see? What do you sense? Really scour around and look around until something calls your attention. This is a place where you’ll learn something. Something will occur that will help you achieve what you want. Help you get rid of all that stress, all that strain letting it go completely.
And as you scour around, really looking around and find that particular symbol and that particular representation or person then, you can start to wonder what that means. You can start to become curious as to what this particular thing could mean in terms of this particular goal. As you continue to wonder about what you need to wonder about, allowing it to happen, allowing you to sense everything you need to sense, I’ll be silent. And the next time you hear my voice, you’ll just relax and just drift out deeper and deeper relaxed. So go ahead and just consider and really consider what you need to consider now.
That’s right. And as you breathe in and all the way out, focusing your attention on a certain pleasant sensation, knowing that there’s many times in your life when you have that stress under control or you have eliminated all the stress in your life letting it go, you can relax. You can take three deep breaths and just relax. Just let you relax right now. Because it’s time to make that journey all the way back and it’s important that you remember everything you need to remember and you can forget to remember what you don’t need to remember. Over the days, the weeks and even the months ahead you can begin to relax whenever you want. All you need to do is focus your attention to that pleasant place in your mind, that pleasant scene, that place of sanctuary, that place of safety. And as you make your way back, back through the same journey that you’ve come, whether it’s back over that pathway or back through that door making your way all the way back, so that in a moment as I begin to count from 1 to 5, you can allow yourself to re-orientate all the way back to now. Knowing that when those eyes open you can feel refreshed, you can feel relaxed. You can feel fantastic. You can start to allow the energy to build all the way up. 1, 2, taking a deep breath all the way in. 3, all the way out. 4, 5, come in all the way back feeling refreshed, relaxed, feeling absolutely fantastic.
